Perhaps it's a New Year's Resolution to take more pictures... Obviously, it's not one of mine as I take about 400 pictures a day (literally some days)!
Shutter Buddy is a great new product developed by a frustrated Dad. He was having trouble when taking photos of his infant daughter (who was tired and hungry…and therefore awfully cranky) at Christmas. As he was struggling, the lightbulb came on and he created a lens cover on which he had drawn a spiral with a black magic marker. And his daughter was totally captivated and was staring right into the camera’s lens.

This became such a hit that he has patented the idea and is selling the product, Shutter Buddy! You can check it out here: www.shutter-buddy.com.
I have this same problem with Jane sometimes - often having to hold my hand over the camera, wiggling my fingers to get her attention. Unfortunately, for me, the Shutter Buddy won't work as I have a dSLR and it's really designed for the point-and-click digital camera.
MOmMy bRaIn is giving away a Shutter Buddy to one lucky winner.
Good luck! Winner will be announced under "Giveaways" (right sidebar) next Tuesday!

That is a really great idea. I love it. All steps completed. Thanks for the fun give away
Fabulous idea!! I'd love to try it out on my kids ... it's so hard to get good pictures of them!
I wonder if that works for my little guy who now just wants the camera to either take pictures or look at the ones already taken!
Great Idea!!
Great giveaway Jen!
Great idea. Ethan just stares at my camera when I try to take his picture. I can't seem to capture a smile.
what a great idea my baby girl looks down at her feet or the outfit she has on :-)
What a great idea! My baby's still in my belly for another 10 weeks, but once she's here, I know I'll be camera happy!
Oops, I forgot to tell you I'm a follower and I voted. Also, once our little one is here, I know I'll love to share her picture!
Luke refuses to look at me now when I take his pic-this seems like a great idea:)
